Man who was arrested for blocking Ajay Devgn’s car has been released on bail – Times of India
Ajay Devgn faced an unexpected situation on Tuesday when a man stopped his car from entering a film studio. The man has been identified as Rajdeep Ramesh Singh and he was reportedly upset with Ajay Devgn for his tweet regarding the farmers’ protest in the country. He was soon arrested and according to ANI, Mumbai police confirmed that Rajdeep Ramesh Singh was later released on bail. When arrested, Singh was charged with sections 504 and 506 (ii) of IPC.
When this incident occurred, Ajay Devgn was on his way to the shoot of ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’. ETimes had previously learnt that Rajdeep Ramesh Singh blocked Ajay Devgn’s car and urged him to speak about the farmers’ protest. Devgn’s bodyguard asked the man to move away which led to a scuffle between them, Singh also abused Ajay Devgn during the incident.
Ajay Devgn began shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s direction ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ on Saturday. The film is Bhansali’s 10th directorial and featured Alia Bhatt in the lead. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on July 30.
