Shweta Bachchan Nanda’s husband Nikhil Nanda celebrated his birthday on Thursday in Delhi, in the presence of his close ones. Karisma had shared a series of pictures from the fun-filled birthday celebration of her cousin Nikhil Nanda. Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, her husband Bharat Sahni, daughter Samara and Nikhil Nanda’s mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan were seen bonding at the bash.

Nikhil Nanda is the son of Karisma’s aunt, late Ritu Nanda and Rajan Nanda. Kareena Kapoor Khan had also wished him on Instagram. Nikhil Nanda is married to Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter, Shweta Bachchan Nanda. The couple has two kids – Navya Naveli Nanda and Agastya Nanda.

Shweta and Nikhil Nanda’s daughter Navya recently made her Instagram account public. She has been working on several women-centric initiatives under her Project Naveli. She recently hit headlines with her response to politician Tirath Singh Rawat’s comment on how ‘ripped jeans pave the way for societal breakdown’. Taking to her Instagram stories, she shared a picture of herself sporting ripped jeans, and had shared, “Change your mentality before changing our clothes 🙂 because the only thing shocking here is the message comments like this send to society.”
