Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sara Ali Khan send in prayers for victims of Uttarakhand glacier burst – Times of India


A glacier broke off in Joshimath in Uttarakhand‘s Chamoli district today. Around 100 to 150 people may have died reportedly. Several Bollywood celebrities took to their social media handles, praying for the safety of the people. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sara Ali Khan penned down thoughtful messages for the safety and well being of the victims.

Kareena took to her Instagram story and wrote, “Sending prayers for the safety and well being of those affected by the terrible tragedy unfolding in #Uttarakhand.”

On the other hand Sara Ali Khan wrote “Praying for the safety of the people of Chamoli. Hope those stranded or missing are rescued and brought home safe soon. Strength to them and to the rescue teams to cope with this disturbing tragedy #Uttarakhand”.
