Kangana Ranaut is all praise for NASA’s ‘bindi-wearing’ Indian sisters – Times of India
In the picture, the Roy sisters can be seen in NASA sweatshirts. What made Kangana excited is the fact that they wore bindis. The popular actress wrote: “Anyone with scientific bend of mind will naturally be inclined to Hinduism, so lovely to see virat Hindus that too girls and also wearing bindis as one of the brightest scientists of NASA… devotion is the most profound dimension of intelligence.”

The original tweet was from NASA’s human spaceflight program head Kathy Lueders who wrote, “Puja and Pratima Roy are two sisters currently majoring in Computer Engineering Technology and interning at @NASAGlenn. Learn more about their contributions to NASA, and how their roles tie in to the #Artemis program: https://go.nasa.gov/2P0dP4y #WomensHistoryMonth”
It’s not the first time that Kangana has opened up on the significance of women in our society. Earlier she had paid her homage to the iconic female filmmaker Sai Paranjpye. She had tweeted: “There are many lost heroes of Cinema who media conveniently forgets… Today is the birth anniversary of one such hero one of the first women writer and director Sai Paranjpye ji who made exceptional cinema like Sparsh and Chasme Buddoor. Wishing you a very happy birthday maam.”
On the work front, apart from ‘Tejas’, Kangana Ranaut will also be seen as the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, J. Jayalalithaa in the upcoming film ‘Thalavi’ directed by A. L. Vijay.
