John Abraham feels he cannot be a flagbearer for all issues just because he is a celebrity – Times of India
Talking about the same, he reportedly told a news portal that as a celebrity, you can express yourself, but you also must be prepared for the vitriol, negativity and toxicity that comes with it. If you are well prepared to take that, you must voice your opinion. According to him, there is no point in him voicing his opinions on every issue in the country so that he is learned and knowledgeable. The actor stated that he would rather voice his opinion on certain issues without spreading himself too thin because he knows there are others voicing theirs on other issues. John also added that they cannot be flag bearers for every issue, and the public should not assume that they necessarily need to be that for all issues. As long as people understand that they are also limited like every other citizen of the country, and not endowed with superpowers, then it’s all fine.
Meanwhile, on the work front, he will next be seen in the second instalment of Milap Zaveri’s ‘Satyameva Jayate’. The movie will also star Divya Khosla Kumar in a key role. The movie will hit the theatres on Eid this year and will lock horns with Salman Khan starrer ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’.
Apart from this, John also has Siddharth Anand’s ‘Pathan’ where he will be seen collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone for the first time.
John is also a part of Mohit Suri’s ‘Ek Villain 2’ co-starring Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria in lead roles.
