Jacqueline Fernandez is currently on a roll. The actress, who is shooting for Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Bachchan Pandey’, is all set to star opposite him once again in ‘Ram Setu’.

According to a report in a news portal, Jacqueline is the frontrunner for the female lead in ‘ram Setu’. While the makers were considering several actors, Jacqueline was reportedly their first choice. The report added that the makers had initiated a discussion with her, and had given her a narration. Though she has liked the script, she has yet to sign on the dotted line.

Jacqueline Fernandez has collaborated with Akshay Kumar in several films, including ‘Housefull 2’, ‘Housefull 3’ and ‘Brothers’.

Akshay is expected to kick-off ‘Ram Setu’ by mid-2021, in time for its Diwali 2022 release. Last December, during Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s visit to Mumbai, Kumar reportedly procured permission to shoot the adventure drama in Ayodhya.

Meanwhile, apart from this, Jacqueline also has films like, ‘Bhoot Police’ in her kitty where she will be seen sharing the screen space with Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor and Yami Gautam.

She is also a part of Rohit Shetty’s ‘Cirkus’ co-starring Ranveer Singh, Pooja Hegde and Varun Sharma. Jacqueline also has ‘Kick 2’ co-starring Salman Khan in the lead.
