Instagram may soon rollout caption support to Stories – Times of India
This was highlighted by social media consultant Matt Navarra on Twitter who claimed that Instagram is adding a ‘Captions’ sticker for Stories posts.
In his tweet, Navarra added a thirty-second video in which he shows how the sticker will work. Using this sticker, users will be able to live transcribe videos from Stories. This even comes with different four font support too.
Once a user selects the ‘Caption’ sticker, Instagram takes a couple of seconds and displays ‘Transcribing audio’ prompt.

The testing of this feature was confirmed by Instagram to Engadget. In a statement, a spokesperson said, “We’re always exploring ways for people to better express themselves in Stories. This feature is not publicly tested at the moment.”
Recently, it was reported that Instagram is testing to create a Clubhouse clone. Clubhouse, which is an audio-only chat app, works on an invite-only model. This means that anyone cannot chat with a person without the acceptance of the invite.
‘Reverse engineer’ Alessandro Paluzzi, showed via a tweet that Instagram is soon going to introduce the ability to host voice-based discussions and debates on the app, which is similar to Clubhouse.
