India and England are set to face off in the second ODI on Friday. England suffered a spectacular collapse as India won the first ODI by 66 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the series. The hosts will be looking to seal the series, while England would want to come back strong after the loss in the first game. India suffered a setback as Shreyas Iyer was ruled out of the series — and IPL 2021 — after he injured his shoulder while fielding in the first ODI. One among Suryakumar Yadav and Rishabh Pant is expected to replace Iyer. Vice-captain and opener Rohit Sharma is also an injury worry for India, having suffered a blow on his elbow, but he is likely to play. England have injury worries of their own in Eoin Morgan and Sam Billings. If the duo are not fit to play, it would be a big blow for the visitors, as it would weaken an already mis-firing middle order.
