Huawei Mate X2 is successor to the Huawei Mate X. The foldable smartphone will be launched on February 22 in China. Earlier this week, the company also shared an official teaser of the phone.

The teaser revealed that the Huawei Mate X2 will feature an inward-folding design display. The design will be similar to the Samsung Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Z Fold 2. It also showed Mate X2 with thinner side bezels compared to its predecessors.
Recently, alleged renders of the smartphone have appeared online. As per these alleged images, Huawei Mate X2 may be equipped with dual cameras at the front on the external screen. One of the cameras is said to be a 16MP sensor.
However, there are no cameras on the internal display of the smartphone.
Huawei Mate X2: Expected specs
Huawei Mate X2 has also been spotted on TENAA. The smartphone was listed under model numbers TET-AN00 and TET-AN10.
As per the listing, the foldable phone may come with a 8.01-inch primary screen with 2480x2200pixel resolution. The secondary display may measure 6.45-inch.
