Chinese smartphone brand Gionee has launched a budget smartphone — called Gionee Max Pro — in India.

The smartphone has been launched in a single storage variant that has 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage and costs Rs 6,999. It can be purchased in three colour options — Black, Red and Royal Blue from Flipkart starting March 8.

Running on Android 10, the Gionee Max Pro smartphone offers a display of 6.5-inch HD+ screen of 1600x720p resolution with a waterdrop notch.
The Gionee Max Pro smartphone comes powered by an octa-core Spreadtrum 9863A processor. On the storage front, the device offers 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. For those who want more, they can install a microSD card of up to 256GB.
For imaging duties, the Gionee Max Pro has a dual-camera setup on the back. The primary camera is a 13MP sensor and the secondary sensor is a 2MP bokeh sensor. On the front, users get an 8MP sensor. Buyers get features like slo-mo, HDR mode, time-lapse and more.
Backed by a 6000mAh battery, the Gionee Max Pro offers support for reverse charging, which means that using this smartphone users will be able to charge other devices.
Measuring 75x165x10mm and weighing 212 grams, the smartphone offers face unlock support and a dual SIM card tray.
