Fitbit has a new offering for Premium members to counter stress – Times of India
Fitbit has partnered with The Chopra Foundation and Chopra Global to launch an exclusive wellness collection for the Fitbit Premium members. Called Deepak Chopra’s Mindful Method, the collection features audio and 10 video sessions led by Deepak Chopra on themes like mindfulness, sleep, stress management, mental wellness and the mind-body connection.
Fitbit Premium costs Rs 99 per month while the annual charge is Rs 999. The company is giving a 90-day free trial to users who are new or returning to Premium.
The new collection, Fitbit says, will help in better management of a user’s emotional wellbeing through practices like meditation and breathing exercises. Under the collection, Fitbit will roll out more content every couple of week to create a library of more than 30 sessions.
Each session will be around 20 minutes long. They will be centred around topics ranging from meditation, managing emotions, winding down for the day, stress relief and more. They will also include guided meditations, sessions to prepare for restful sleep, and techniques to help cultivate happiness and optimism whenever you need them.
In a press release, the company said that “All Fitbit users have access to the mindfulness tile in the Fitbit app to help reduce stress and deepen your mindfulness practice by setting a weekly mindfulness goal”.
Fitbit says it will bring more devices with relax guided breathing in the future.
