When he arrived, he was addressed as Ayushmann Khurrana’s brother Aparshakti Khurana. However, within a span of few years he’s been able to create his own identity in Bollywood. Known for his work in films like Dangal (2016), Stree (2018), Luka Chuppi (2019) among others, Aparshakti has always been handsful with projects since his arrival. So, how does he relax and unwind? These days, the actor says, his new found love has been, travelling!

Talking to Bombay Times, Aparshakti shares, “Apart from acting and being before the camera, travelling is something that I have started to look forward to. Actually, it’s my wife Aakriti who encouraged me to travel. So, everytime I feel like taking a break, I zero down on a place and take off. Last year, since everything came to a standstill, I couldn’t explore much. So, as we stepped into 2021, the first thing I did was to travel.”

In January, the actor took off to the sun and sand destination Andaman and Nicobar Islands with his friends and family. Sharing how travelling works in his favour, the actor added, “It makes me happy. It clears up my mind. It is also said that travelling helps broaden your creative horizons. For someone like me, who is used to being outside and travelling across the length and the breadth of the country for shoots, it was difficult to stay stuck in one city. I am glad that I got to start 2021 on such a positive note. Just chilling on the beach, looking away at the sea merging with the sky gave me a lot of peace. With a fresh and happy mind, I have already begun working on my next. I am also back at the gym to shed all those extra kilos (smiles).”
