Shruti Haasan turned 35 on January 28, and treated fans to pictures from her midnight birthday celebrations. Talking about the party, she says, “I had a very intimate get together with just my closest friends to be safe, keeping the pandemic in mind. I felt very blessed in their love and energy”. Ask her if she has a resolution and pay congress the reply, “I don’t have a particular birthday resolution. I always look to improve myself and stay true to myself at the same time”.

Recently, Shruti made headlines when she was spotted with a mystery man, who is rumoured to be Santanu Hazarika. Reports suggest that the two are in a relationship. “I really don’t like talking about my personal life anymore because I don’t think it’s easy for people to separate personal and professional matters so my focus is my work and that’s what I would like others to focus on as well,” she smiles.

On the work front, 2021 is going to be a busy year for the actress as she has just started the shoot of the action thriller ‘Salaar’. Speaking about her busy diary, Shruti shares, “2021 is a very jam packed year for me already and my plan is to work hard and be as creative as I can be in all my endeavours. I can’t say much about my role in ‘Salaar’ but it’s unique in comparison to what I’ve done before and I’m excited to play the character the director has etched out.”

Shruti will be sharing the frame with Prabhas in the South biggie. “I’m really glad to be working with Prabhas as I haven’t before! He’s a really warm and dedicated person and it’s a lot of good energy,” she signs off.
