Rhea Chakraborty hit headlines in 2020 when actor-boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Bandra residence. The actress was mired in controversy and was also put behind bars for a month in an alleged drug case.

After being released from prison, she was spotted around town on several occasions hitting the gym and probably gearing up to resume shooting again. However, she is now making news again, this time for her absence on the poster and teaser of her next film ‘Chehre’, a thriller which stars Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi in key roles, besides Krystle D’Souza, Siddhanth Kapoor, and Annu Kapoor.

The trailer of ‘Chehre’ will be launched today and ahead of the same, ETimes got in touch with director Rumy Jafry, who confirmed that Rhea will be seen in the film and that her role has not been chopped off. “Rhea is very much a part of the film and her role has not been cut at all. She will be seen in the trailer also,” Rumy revealed.

In the past, producer Anand Pandit had told a news portal that they will talk about Rhea when the time is right. Previously, Emraan had also shared a new poster of the film, tagging the entire team, with the exception of Rhea.
