Sunday spells business for Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgn as they have begun shooting for ‘Mayday’ today, reporting on sets early in the morning. ETimes photographer has caught all the action from the sets with also includes Rakul Preet Singh and Boman Irani. Ajay Devgn, who is not just playing one of the leads but also directing the venture, arrived early for the 7AM shoot while Big B joined in at around 9:30. A source reveals, “Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Rakul and Boman Irani are shooting for ‘Mayday’ in the city. A courtroom scene is going on with Big B dressed as a lawyer and it looks like everyone has arrived for a case hearing sequence. A lot of crowd has gathered to watch Big B in action and the team will be shooting today for a 7am-7pm schedule.”

‘Mayday’ features Ajay Devgn in the role of a pilot while Rakul Preet Singh essays his co-pilot. Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgn have reunited for a film after nearly seven years. Their last onscreen collaboration was ‘Satyagraha’ in 2013. ‘Mayday’ also marks Ajay Devgn’s return to direction after ‘Shivaay’ in 2016.

‘Mayday’ also features Angira Dhar and Aakanksha Singh in pivotal roles. Produced by Ajay Devgn, the film is scheduled to hit the screens on April 29, 2022.
