The year 2021 marks the release of multiple horror comedies in Bollywood. From among the line-up, one to look forward to being Phone Bhoot, that has caught the attention of Bollywood buffs for its quirky title and the unusual casting. The Gurmeet Singh directorial stars Katrina Kaif along with Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi.

BT has it that the horror-comedy will have interesting music and to suit the theme of the film the makers have added spookfest also in its dance numbers. Sharing more details about the same choreographer Adil Shaikh says, “This project has been quite exciting. It’s such a different film. Considering it has horror we’ll have some creepy dance happening in there (laughs!).”

Adil who’s earlier worked on films like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Kapoor & Sons, Student Of The Year 2, Indoo Ki Jawani is excited to be working with Katrina, as the project marks their reunion. Talking about the same, he adds, “I shot for a song with Katrina recently for this film. It was wonderful teaming up with her once again. I worked with her after over a decade.”

Remembering the times he worked with her years ago, Adil says, “I was an assistant choreographer to Ahmed Khan at that time. We worked on Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani the last time.”
