Mouni Roy’s relationship with Suraj Nambiar is now very close to the altar. Last time out, ETimes broke the story when the actress made the relationship official on Insta when she shared pictures with Suraj and his family. She even went on to refer to his parents as ‘mom’ and ‘dad’.

A source had then revealed to us that the two are planning to tie the knot soon, adding, “Mouni’s comfort level with his parents may have precipitated her decision.”

Well, Mouni and Suraj have taken the next step in their relationship. A few days ago, Mouni’s mother met Suraj’s parents. Naturally, the topic was centred around the relationship. The meeting happened at Mandira Bedi’s residence and it all went off very smoothly. Mandira is very close to Mouni and Mouni’s brother was also in attendance.

In August 2020, ETimes was the first to tell you that Mouni was shooting hoops in the apartment building in Dubai where Suraj resides.

Mouni, who will soon be seen as an antagonist in the Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Brahmastra‘ (produced by Karan Johar and directed by Ayan Mukerji), was earlier going steady with Gaurav Chopra (split in 2012), and later was also rumoured to be dating ‘Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev’ co-star Mohit Raina (reportedly parted ways in late 2017).
