Birthday girl Janhvi Kapoor had visitors last night. Father Boney Kapoor flew out to Chandigarh to join his elder daughter, who turns 24 today, and younger sister Khushi also joined in. Soon, a few childhood friends, including those from her school, also arrived for the birthday celebrations, which were rather low-key.

Of course, Janhvi cut the cake when the clock struck midnight but that was all because she had to report on the sets this morning. Sridevi’s elder daughter has been shooting in Chandigarh for ‘Good Luck Jerry‘ since the past few weeks. It remains to be seen if further celebrations are planned to take place on the sets during the day.

In an exclusive interview with ETimes, talking about her birthday wish this year, Janhvi had said that she wants to continue her journey in films and make her parents proud with her work. “And that I get more work and more opportunities to work on my skill, grow more as an actor, experience more, fill up my emotional well and just learn more about myself and about the world. I want to make the people who have supported me even more proud, and win over the ones who need to be won over, through my work.”

ETimes also has it that Janhvi is returning to Mumbai tomorrow to promote her film ‘Roohi’ which releases next week. ‘Roohi’ is expected to be the biggest release in terms of the number of screens given Covid times.
