It has been three years since Kartik Aaryan, Sunny Singh, and Nushrratt Bharuccha-starrer ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ released. The audience lauded the film’s plot, actors’ performances, and even the songs, so much so, that it went on to become a box office hit. While they had tasted success earlier too, the light-hearted bromance launched its three leads into the major league. Even Kartik took to Instagram to gush how, three years ago, his life changed with the release of the film. ETimes reached out to Sunny, who had played Titu in the film, to know his thoughts about the milestone, and here’s what he had to say:

Sunny starts off by insisting that he feels like they shot for ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ just yesterday. “The memory is still fresh and the time spent on the sets was so much fun. I still can’t believe it’s the third anniversary of the film already. The movie opened a bag of opportunities for me, and I’m grateful for all of it!” he says earnestly.

The actor also spoke about his experience of working with his old co-stars, Kartik and Nushrratt, saying, “Working with Kartik and Nushrratt is always lovely, and since we have worked together earlier, it was double the fun. I’m grateful to Luv sir for this opportunity of a lifetime. He is a very special person and I hope, we can recreate the magic again”.

Sunny is currently busy shooting for Om Raut’s next, ‘Adipurush’, which also stars Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan. Reports suggest that he will be playing the role of Laxman.
