Exclusive! COVID-19: Satish Kaushik rushed to hospital after a two-day quarantine at home – Times of India

On Wednesday, senior actor-filmmaker Satish Kaushik informed that he has tested positive for COVID-19 and is isolating himself at home. He also took to Twitter to post that those who came in contact with him should also get tested. “Attention, please! I have been tested COVID-19 positive. I would request everyone to get tested, who came in contact with me in the last few days. I am home quarantined. Your love, best wishes and blessings will help. Thanks,” the post read.

Now, ETimes has it that in the days following the announcement, the actor was in a bit of discomfort and his doctors advised him to get admitted to a hospital. Kaushik was rushed to the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital and has been receiving treatment since.

As you read this, he is better and resting. It is assumed that he will remain in the hospital until he tests negative and regains full fitness.

When contacted, Kaushik could not respond to our calls and text messages but his spokesperson sent us a text, saying, “Yes, Satish ji is currently admitted in Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. He is recovering well. He was planning to get vaccinated for COVID-19; however, when he got tested after experiencing some weakness, he found that he was positive. He quarantined himself at home for two days but decided to get admitted to the hospital for proper medical care. He is grateful to his family, friends and well-wishers who are praying for his speedy recovery.”

Get well soon, Mr Kaushik.
