Exclusive! Choreographer Caesar Gonsalves: Fans will get to witness Aamir Khan in a never-seen-before dance avatar – Times of India

Aamir Khan recently went out of his way to shoot for a dance number for friend Amin Hajee’s directorial debut, ‘Koi Jaane Na’. A leaked video from the sets saw Aamir shaking a leg with Elli Avram. Speaking about the dance sequence, Caesar Gonsalves of the famous choreographer duo Bosco-Caesar, says, “Bosco, me, Amin, Aamir and Bhushan ji (Kumar, producer) planned it for months. It is a classic jazz setting. This is one song that Bosco and I will be very proud of.”

Aamir, being the perfectionist that he is, practiced for five days before it was time to face the camera and then delivered flawless shots. “I have worked with him in the past too and he is always a delight to work with because he gives his inputs too. He is not known for dancing, but surprisingly for this song, which is all about groove and style, he delivered fabulously. He is very dedicated and keeps giving shots with variations for us to choose from. Nowadays, we have to cut down big songs into small cuts to make it look pacy but Aamir was giving us long takes without any mistakes. We have just put insertions like a close-up to enhance the song. Fans will get to witness Aamir Khan in a never-seen-before dance avatar,” promises the choreographer who also had 50 background dancers present on the sets of the film.

The yet-to-be-revealed song has been composed by Tanishk Bagchi with lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. “Bosco-Caesar are known for their style and for this number we have created a combination of classic and groovy steps. Elli, who I recently found out is Greek, performed like a Greek Goddess. She has done a wonderful job and looks stunning! Aamir and Elli both have delivered a classic performance,” concludes Caesar.
