After the success of ‘Ek Villain’ starring Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor, and Riteish Deshmukh, Mohit Suri is back with the second instalment on popular demand. The sequel will star Disha Patani, Tara Sutaria, John Abraham and Arjun Kapoor in lead roles. This is the first time the actors are coming together for a film.

The film was reportedly titled ‘Do Villain’ earlier and was supposed to star Aditya Roy Kapur as one of the male leads. However, Aditya who worked with Mohit in ‘Malang’ as well, quit the project for reasons best known to him.

Talking about ‘Ek Villain Returns’, Mohit had earlier told a news portal that in the film, the girls are also playing villains. He also added that they are trying to build on a whole series of villains and different characters, who are all connected.

The film is slated to hit the theatres in February 11, 2022.
