Desi Google Drive alternative DigiBoxx is offering 26GB free storage to new users as part of its Republic Day. Users who sign-up starting January 26, 2021 will be eligible to avail the special offer valid for the Republic Day week along with the pledge to support indigenous products and services. All users who take the pledge during the Republic Day week will be given 26 GB free storage space.
DigiBoxx is an indigenous cloud service provider that claims that data is encrypted and stored in servers in India. As far as non-offer period costs are concerned, individuals can start by creating a free DigiBoxx account and get 20GB free storage. However, the maximum size limit for individual files is 2GB. Users can also opt for plans at Rs 30 per month and get 5TB storage with a size limit of 10GB for individual files. For businesses, the company is offering 50TB storage for up to 500 users at Rs 999. The individual file size needs to be under 10GB. It also offers Gmail integration.
DigiBoxx is available on Android and iOS and you can even access it on PCs through the web. One of the interesting features of DigiBoxx is that you can use the service to share files without requiring to create a Digiboxx account;. This feature is called InstaShare and you can share content of up to 2GB for free using an email-ID or mobile number. A link gets generated which can be used by the recipient to download the shared files. The company said that it stores the files till 45 days post which the links become invalid and the data gets deleted.
