BTS’ Jimin reveals if high notes in ‘Life Goes On’ is really his voice; says they considered adding a woman’s voice – Times of India

BTS‘s Jimin has many talents, and one of them is hitting the high notes for his songs. In a recent interview, the star got candid about the hugely debated verse in ‘Life Goes On’ that had fans wondering if it was really him or a woman singing the part.

During the chorus, some noted that the note goes very high for a man to sing. This gave way to speculations that a woman’s voice may have been added to the song instead of Jimin’s voice. Putting all rumours to rest, Jimin admitted that he and the producers discussed the possibility of including a woman’s voice in the track. He even admitted that they thought it would be a “good addition” to the song.

However, as it would be difficult to find a female guest vocalist immediately, they decided that Jimin would push his vocal range to hit the right pitch.

Watch the song below:

‘You should try singing it, your voice could be even better,’ He recalled the producers telling him.

BTS is on the brink of history in the music world as they are tipped to be the first Korean band to win a Grammy Award for their hit summer 2020 track ‘Dynamite’. The boy-band is in the running for a Grammy Award in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category .
