K-Pop superstars BTS are continuing their historic run in the music industry. This time around, the band has become the first Korean group in music history to spend 30 weeks on the Hot 100 charts with their hit summer 2020 track ‘Dynamite’.

According to reports, ‘Dynamite’ extended its record as the 2nd longest run by a Korean act ever by remaining on this week’s Hot 100 charts. RM, Jimin, Jungkook, Jin, V, J-Hope and Suga need 1 more week on the charts to tie the record and 2 weeks to officially break it and take the number 1 spot.

BTS’ ‘Dynamite’ comes in second with Pinkfong’s ‘Baby Shark’ at number three. Psy also features on the 4th spot with ‘Gentlemen’ that ruled the charts for 15 weeks and BTS round up the list with ‘MIC Drop’ taking the fifth spot with a total of 10 weeks on the charts.

Hitting a new high, the band also returned to the top 3 of this week’s Billboard Artist 100 chart. The boys took the third spot on the list after spending 16 weeks at number 1, the most for any group.
