Bollywood to re-strategise shooting plan after Maharashtra government announces night curfew – Times of India
General Secretary Ashok Dubey when contacted said, “We have shot our films and television serials during the previous night curfew but we will be calling a meeting of our advisors to tackle the present scenario. There are a lot of cases that are found on film and television sets so we need to work out a plan to make our members safe”. When asked if the shooting of big songs and scenes with a lot of people will have to controlled, Dubey said, “We have already told our members to avoid such crowded scenes in the past too and will caution them again”.It is learnt all the big songs with over 50 dancers will not be shot till the covid cases come down.
JD Majithia of Indian Film and Television Producers Council said,”We have already cautioned our members against large gatherings on film and television sets. In fact we have circulated a letter to our members where we have clearly stated that we are at the September 2020 situation again and therefore told our producers to avoid outdoor shoots immediately. Restrict number of junior artistes on sets. Ensure that all crew members are insured and restrict crew size to 33 percent like it was in July 2020″.
