Bolly Buzz: Rhea Chakraborty returns on the silver screen with ‘Chehre’ trailer, Amrita Rao shares the first picture of her baby boy Veer – Times of India ►

From Rhea Chakraborty returning on the silver screen with ‘Chehre’ trailer, B-Town reacting to Uttarakhand CM for his remark on ‘ripped jeans’, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s divorce proceedings, and much more, check out the hottest headlines of the day by the latest edition of Bolly Buzz.

After her visible absence from the poster and teaser, Rhea made a fleeting appearance in the latest trailer which is largely dominated by lead actor Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi. Helmed by filmmaker Rumi Jaffery, the film is slated to be released on April 30 this year.

Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda lashed out at Uttarakhand CM Tirath Singh Rawat’s comment about women wearing ripped jeans. While the politician opinioned that “Ripped jeans pave the way for societal breakdown and are a bad example parent set for children”, Navya slammed him with a picture in ripped denim with much pride and wrote, “Change your mentality before changing our clothes 🙂 because the only thing shocking here is the message comments like this send to society.” Gul Panag and Swara Bhasker also gave a shout-out to the trend. Later Kangana joined the trend by sharing pictures of herself wearing ripped jeans as an inspiration to avoid looking like ‘homeless beggars’ for most young people.

On Thursday, Amrita Rao unveiled the first picture of her baby boy Veer, who was born on November 1. “I am balancing Veer’s schedule with my work meetings. Now, days are shorter, nights are longer, clothes are shabbier, but being a hands-on mom is the only way to know your baby closely. I feel stronger, wiser and proud that I took the challenge,” shared the newbie mom.

The multi-starrer ‘Mumbai Saga’ is scheduled to hit the screens on Friday and the Bombay high refused to stay its release, on a plea by incarcerated under trial accused gangsters Ravi Bohra alias D K Rao and Aswhin Naik and the widow and daughter of a slain businessman and alleged gangster Amar Naik. Rao and others had filed a petition against producers and makers of ‘Mumbai Saga’ and Central Board of film certification (CBFC) and sought a stay on its release arguing that it would violate their client’s right to privacy and fair trial. However, the bench of Justices Amjad Sayed and Madhav Jamdar said the petitioners were coming to court at the “11th hour” and hence refused their plea for urgent ad-interim relief to stay the release.

In Hollywood, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s divorce proceedings have taken a dramatic twist as reports suggested that the actress has claimed in court that she has proof of alleged domestic abuse against Pitt. According to court documents, an international magazine added that Angelina Jolie has agreed to provide testimony herself, with the “testimony of minor children”.
