Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan hit a new high today, when it was announced that he will be conferred upon with the prestigious 2021 FIAF Award. Bachchan’s name was nominated by the FIAF affiliate Film Heritage Foundation, founded by filmmaker and archivist Shivendra Singh Dungarpur. Martin Scorsese and Christopher Nolan, who share a long-standing relationship with India through their affiliation with the foundation, will virtually present the award to the superstar for his dedication and contribution to the preservation of the world’s film heritage. He will be the first Indian to receive this global award.Another bright young Bollywood talent Adarsh Gourav, hit the headlines today for landing a BAFTA nomination for his performance in ‘The White Tiger’. “This is unbelievable. It is surreal… I was at the gym. I just found out about the nomination,” Gourav said while celebrating this huge honour.

Shraddha Kapoor and rumoured beau Rohan Shreshtha were spotted heading out for the night for some alone time together. These two may be in no mood to spill the deets on their romance. And while the lockdown may have brought many couples together, COVID-19 is keeping Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt apart it seems. The hunk, who is currently in quarantine, may not be able to be by his lady love’s side as she celebrates her birthday on March 15. Buzz is that Ranbir planned a small get-together for Alia, but with him testing positive, the celebrations will happen on a later date.

The hunk spilled the deets about his road to recovery and he even reacted to rumours of diaper duty coming his way, KSG said, “It is just natural progression that people fall in love, get married and then after a few years they have a baby. And if you don’t have a baby then people start speculating that you must have a baby. Whenever ours happens, we will let everyone know, till then you can keep speculating.”
