Black Shark has teased its next smartphone– Black Shark 4, via social media platform Weibo, as per a report by GizChina. The gaming smartphone will come with a massive 120W fast charging capability and feature a 144Hz display.
Reports suggest that there will be two variants of the phone: Black Shark 4 and Black Shark 4 Pro. The former is rumoured to come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset while the latter, with Snapdragon 888. The gaming phone will sport a 6.67-inch 144Hz OLED display with a resolution of 2400×1800 pixels. Both the models will have the same battery capacity of 4500mAh with a 120W charging support. Some of the other expected features of the smartphone include an LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
The Black Shark 4 will compete with the likes of Asus ROG Phone 5 and Nubia RedMagic 6.
The Chinese gaming brand had launched the Black Shark 2 in India about two years back. At that time, its competition was the ROG Phone 2 and Nubia Red Magic 3S.
The ROG Phone 5 series was launched two days back with Snapdragon 888 chipset and 6,000mAh battery. The most expensive model of the series–the ROG Phone 5 Ultimate– comes with an 18GB RAM and 512GB ROM and is currently one of the most powerful Android smartphones in the world.The Nubia RedMagic 6, on the other hand, features a 165Hz display, is powered by Snapdragon 888 chipset and backed by a 4500mAh battery.
