BJP to reach out to tillers on laws, convince them | India News – Times of India


NEW DELHI: The BJP officebearers’ meeting has passed a resolution strongly endorsing the three farm laws, indiacting that the party remains firm on its continuation and it will continue to reach out to farmers to convince them about the agricultural reforms.
“The party applauds the Centre under the leadership of PM Modi for bringing in the three laws.The government brought in the laws in the interest of farmers to ensure they get the right price for their produce, their farm income doubles and that they have the freedom to sell their produce where ever they want to,” said the resolution.
BJP also said Congress, along with some other parties, is trying to mislead the protesters about the laws. During campaign for the coming assembly polls in a few states, BJP is set to resonate the benefits of the laws, mainly among small farmers.
