The 27-year-old singer took to Instagram and posted a picture of his lady love flaunting her stunning diamond ring.
“She said YES (ring and heart emoji) @bellathorne,” Benjamin captioned the photo.
The 23-year-old actress also shared the photo confirming the news on her Instagram Stories.
Mascolo proposed on the set of a movie the pair is starring in together, he said.
“I wrote the love letter on the back of the script of our movie….” he wrote in his Instagram story. “At the end or the last scene, she was at the monitor watching with the director and .. surprise.”
In a video posted on their Instagram Stories, the couple revealed that they have celebrations planned in the USA and Italy.
Following the engagement announcement, the stars were flooded with congratulatory messages from friends and family. Assuring all that she has seen the messages and will reply to everyone in time, Bella wrote in a post, “For everyone writing congratulations, thank u guys!!! It’s hard to reply to everyone, I’m bot being a b***h it’s just gonna take a while but I love u guys thank u.”
Bella and Benjamin started dating in June 2019, when they confirmed their romance on social media. By July 2020, their representatives were denying engagement rumours, following a Mexican getaway last summer.
