Apple to add better cameras in iPhone 13 for better low-light, wide-angled images – Times of India

Apple will reportedly add a better ultra-wide-angle camera lens to the next iPhone which could be called iPhone 12S or iPhone 13. Apple will most likely stay with a maximum of three lenses for the top-end variant but market analysts predict that the company will focus on improving images shot in low-light. Analysts from Barclays claim that Apple may include a a ultra-wide angle lens with an aperture of F1.8.
Apple is expected to launch three variants of the next iPhone as well– iPhone 13, 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max. There are chances that may be even called iPhone 12S, 12S Pro and 12S Pro Max.
According to a report by Bloomberg, Apple may bring back the TouchID scanner with the iPhone 13 series. This time the TouchID will be embedded in the display itself.
Another change that the company may introduce to the 2021 iPhones is that it may remove the Lightning charging port.
Rumours say that the lightning port could be replaced by a USB Type-C port. But, it is likely that the port may be dropped altogether for a complete wireless charging system. This will also give a push to Apple MagSafe charging system which was introduced with the iPhone 12 series in 2020.
Apple has already removed the charging adapter and earphones from inside the box of iPhone 12 but it turns out that Apple may remove even more accessories. Apple may remove the USB-C-to-Lightning cable for charging and data transfer from the box of future iPhones. It may also remove the tiny SIM ejection tool and Apple stickers.
