‘Anek’: Anubhav Sinha’s Ayushmann Khurrana starrer to hit the theatres on September 17, 2021 – Times of India


Anubhav Sinha’s upcoming film, ‘Anek’ starring Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role will hit the theatres on September 17, 2021. This is the second collaboration of the actor-director after ‘Article 15’.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Ayushmann announced the release date of the film with his fans.

He wrote, ‘Naam #ANEK, lekin release date ek! Milte hai aapse 17th September 2021 ko! @anubhavsinha #BhushanKumar @TSeries @BenarasM’

Ayushmann Khurrana had shared the first look from the film with his fans earlier where he is seen sitting in a red jeep in a pensive mood. He is wearing a green jacket and shirt and is seen with a thick beard and one of his eyebrows slightly shaved.

Spilling the beans on his rugged looks, Ayushmann told a news portal that the objective was to create a distinct look. So, the actor discussed the idea of sporting an eyebrow slit with Anubhav sir. He also went on to say that he is grateful that the filmmaker was open to his suggestion and that’s what makes their creative partnership so exciting.

Apart from this, Ayushmann also has films like ‘Doctor G’ where he will be seen co-starring Rakul Preet Singh. He also has Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ where he will be seen sharing the screen space with Vaani Kapoor. The actor will be seen playing a cross-functional athlete in the movie.
