Amazon offers ‘special deal’ to Prime members on smartphones – Times of India
E-commerce giant Amazon has announced a new offer for its Prime members called ‘Advantage No Cost EMI.’
Under this offer, the e-tailer will offer its Prime members interest-free instalments with a minimum three-month enhanced tenure for smartphone purchases on Amazon.in.
In a press statement, the company said that Prime members will be able to upgrade smartphones and get 50% lower monthly instalments using HDFC Bank credit and debit card EMI.
For instance, if a smartphone is selling on Amazon at Rs 39,999 and comes with 6 months No Cost EMI of Rs 6,666 monthly instalment, the same phone would now be available at a 12 month No Cost EMI with Rs 3,333 monthly instalment with no interest charges.
The company revealed that the Advantage No Cost EMI’ programme is currently available on popular smartphones by Apple, Samsung and Oppo.
As of now, the smartphones that are part of this scheme are iPhone 12 mini, Samsung Galaxy M21, Samsung Galaxy M31, Samsung Galaxy M51, Oppo A15, Oppo A1K, Oppo F17, Oppo F17 Pro and Oppo Find X2.
