Alia Bhatt’s highly anticipated drama ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ will be released on the big screen on July 30, 2021. Helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the teaser will be unveiled today. Alia took to her Instagram handle to share the big news and also added a little note with it which read,“in cinemas 30th July, 2021 ♥️”

She will be playing the lead role in the film and will be essaying the role of a mafia queen. The movie comprises a story adapted from Hussain Zaidi’s book ‘Mafia Queens of Mumbai’.

Apart from this, Alia also has many amazing projects in her kitty. She will be seen alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, and Mouni Roy in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’. She also has ‘RRR’ which will be helmed by SS Rajamouli. The movie also stars Ram Charan and Ajay Devgn.
