Ranbir Kapoor tested positive for COVID-19. Neetu Kapoor took to her Instagram handle to share her son’s health update. She shared a picture of the ‘Rockstar‘ actor.

The post was captioned as ”Thank you for your concern and your good wishes Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well . He is in self quarantine at home and following all precautions 🙏”.

As soon as she shared the post, his fans and admirers prayed for Ranbir’s speedy recovery.

Ranbir’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni shared a selfie with her ailing brother. She even dropped a heart emoticon on Neetu’s post. His girlfriend Alia Bhatt‘s Mom Soni Razdan too commented on the post. Bipasha Basu, Karisma Kapoor, Ayesha Shroff, Anupam Kher among others wished him a speedy recovery.

Meanwhile, on the work front, the actor was shooting for Ayan Mukerji’s action fantasy film ‘Brahmastra’ with Alia. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles.

Ranbir is also a part of ‘Shamshera’. The Karan Malhotra film is an action drama that also stars Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor.
