Sanjay Leela Bhansali released the trailer of his upcoming film ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ starring Alia Bhatt on his 58th birthday. The trailer received a lot of appreciation and love from the masses. And now, according to the latest update, Ajay Devgn will be playing a pivotal role in the film.

We have also learned that the ‘Singham’ actor will start shooting for the film from tomorrow, 27th February at the grand set which has been installed in Mumbai. With this, Ajay will be collaborating with SLB after 22 years. They last worked together in ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’.

The film is based on one of the chapters of S Hussain Zaidi’s book, ‘Mafia Queens of Mumbai’. The makers have announced the theatrical release date of the film on July 30 this year.

Devgn will share the screen with Alia Bhatt for the first time in ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’. The two stars will also be seen in SS Rajamouli’s ambitious multilingual, ‘RRR’, starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR.
