After Twitter, Instagram to introduce Clubhouse rival – Times of India
Clubhouse is an audio-only chat app. It is an invite-only app which means that anyone cannot chat with a person without the acceptance of the invite.
As revealed by a well-known ‘reverse engineer’ Alessandro Paluzzi, Instagram is soon going to introduce the ability to host voice-based discussions and debates on the app, which is similar to Clubhouse.

Paluzzi also shared screenshots of the upcoming feature which hints at a new option placed inside the Instagram app, using which users will be able to start audio conversations.
According to the screenshots, users will have to tap on the microphone icon placed on the top right corner next to the video option.
Recently, microblogging website Twitter also introduced support for its audio chat room – Spaces.
The company has still not shared details that by when and how the Android users will be able to use this feature. More details about this are expected to be revealed soon.
Back in December 2020, Twitter rolled out a limited version of the Spaces to iOS users. This feature from Twitter rivals the Clubhouse app, which is currently available only to iOS users.
