9 Dead, 9 Injured After Bus Falls into Deep Valley in HP’s Chamba District; CM Orders Probe
Nine people were killed and at least nine injured after a private bus fell into a deep valley at Colony Mod, Bhanjraru in Chamba district, ANI reported.
Chamba District Deputy Commissioner announced immediate relief of Rs 20,000 each for family members of the deceased persons, and Rs 5,000 each to those injured in the accident.
During the ongoing budget session of the state assembly, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur told the House in the afternoon that he has ordered an inquiry to ascertain the exact cause of the accident, said a PTI report.
